Michigan’s New Eagle is promoting its wide expertise in controls for advanced technology vehicles at Booth 5165. The Ann Arbor firm, which recently moved into a new facility, provides both controllers for electric drive vehicles and the software necessary to design such products under the Mototron and MotoHawk brandnames.
New Eagle’s expertise (and customer list) extends to hydraulic hybrid vehicles and propane and natural gas engine controls too, says founder and business
development director Rich Swortzel. New Eagle supports both OEM and retrofit products.
At Calstart’s Hybrid Truck User Forum this past autumn, New Eagle “supplied one-third of the trucks in the show,” Swortzel said. “The Parker systems, Terex, Altec, Dueco, Bright, ALTe, Remy all had New Eagle electronics on board,” he told Fleets & Fuels.
